What's the difference between an AGI and an IGI?

An Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI) can provide ground training for any pilot certificate or rating and endorse you for the knowledge tests for pilot certificates such as Private and Commercial.

An Instrument Ground Instructor (IGI) covers instrument-rating ground training, the instrument knowledge test endorsement, and the ground portion of an IPC. Holding both means your whole path can be covered in one place.

Can you sign me off for my FAA written test?

Yes. Once you've completed the ground training and are ready, you'll receive the knowledge test endorsement you need to sit the exam.

Are sessions online or in person?

Both. Online sessions run over video call so you can study from anywhere, and local on-site sessions are available if you prefer learning face to face.

Do I need to be enrolled at a flight school?

No. Ground instruction is independent of your flight training, so you can study with Sable Aero alongside any flight school or CFI.

Do you offer flight instruction?

CFI and CFII ratings are in progress. You can join the flight instruction waitlist today using the contact form, and you'll hear as soon as spots open.
